The 2016 Season has finally come to a close. A big year, where we inexplicably played 2 of our 3 regular season tournaments in Florida – and hey – we even won one of them! NUT had a great showing at the First Annual Bamasecs Tournament, beating Georgia Tech in the Finals.
After that NUT headed into playoffs and took on the Illinois Section. For the second year in a row, NUT emerged victorious, going undefeated on the weekend and going back to back for the first time ever as far as we know. Good stuff.
NUT went into 2016 Regionals this season with tenacity and confidence. Fighting through the sloppy conditions, NUT dug deep and battled hard against the best teams in the country, ultimately ending up in 5th place. Not the finish that we dreamed of, but that’s why we keep working, harder than ever, to make 2017 even more successful. And if there’s any prospective students out there reading this, we can’t wait to see the impact you will bring to help us reach those goals.
