A second year student in the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science studying Computer Science (CE), Topher is the definition of tenacity. A second year player who has dedicated his life to the game of frisbee, Topher relishes in the spirit of the game, its harmonious flow and penchant for excitement. Beginning his frisbee career with the Darien Blue Wave, Topher is easily the player with the greatest love for the game.
Often reserved, preferring the company of his close friends over big crowds, Topher should not be mistaken for a quiet player. On the field glimpses of “the Toph” strike fear into the hearts of many, his lock down defense stalling even the most dominant of Southeast Region offenses. With great field vision, Topher excels at spacing the field, catching hucks, and throwing hammer bombs. A prominent member of the dreaded “kill line”, the Toph takes no mercy when scoring goals as he frequently slams kick spikes in faces of his opponents.
Off the field Topher can be found listening to Bastille and classic rock, looking at the stars, and admiring the wonder of the powerful Mosasaurus (his favorite dinosaur). When relaxing his activity of choice is an interesting history book and his favorite drink is a Red’s Apple Milk.
