Bharat Iyer (junior, insert major here) came to NUT with a pedigree of ultimate born out of the forges of Pittsburgh, PA. When the 3-star recruit committed to Northwestern on signing day, fans across the world rejoiced at the chance for NUT’s potential rise to national prominence, on the back of Bharat. Unfortunately, a littany of off-field issues, including shredding his face open and spending 6 hours in the hospital on Dillo Day 2014, along with waking up in a random stranger’s car after a night of drinking too much milk, have hampered Bharat’s development as the face of the franchise. Despite this, Bharat maintains potential as a monster in the air, a high altitude of knee height while running, and a team-leader in head-shaking decisions that question how he even got into this fine university in the first place.
All signs point in the positive direction at this point, as Bharat’s number of frisbee tournaments attended has now exceeded the number of frisbee spring breaks he has attended! The question everyone asks now: what will Bharat do next?
