Sahaj is a third year McCormick student studying Environment Engineering (EE). He has been with our program since he started at Northwestern, and has spent time on both NUT and Bolt. He captained Bolt one year, boasting accomplishments such as forgetting to request vans for a tournament and getting his first layout D.

Often noted as the old man of the team, Sahaj has been quoted saying such things as “back in my day”, “you young whippersnappers”, and “OH COME ON, CUT!!!” As a handler, Sahaj is allowed to yell at cutters for not doing athletic things. He has valuable experience in both catching and throwing frisbees and can even spin one on his fingertips. Sahaj is known for his explosive defensive plays, and when he’s on offense if he somehow doesn’t burn a defender upline, he roasts them on a 7 cut (the reason he wears the number 7).

He can be found off the field involved in many humanitarian efforts such as: asking people to tilt things, cooking jambalaya for himself then sharing it because nobody else in the house wants to make their own food, and doing whatever Environmental Engineers do.
