Everyone thought Northwestern had its first taste of royalty when it was announced NU alum Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were getting engaged, but they were wrong. Sebastian redfined the term royalty when he was voted Homecoming King, and when he decided to play Ultimate Frisbee his final year at Northwestern we knew we were blessed. When he stepped on the field, everyone eyes would turn. His cuts from the stack would always leave his defender in the dust, looking in awe of his grace.
Sebastian always found himself in the right place at the right time. During one of his easy swims into the Pacific Ocean, he encountered a sinking cruise ship 20 miles from shore. He was able to singled-handedly resolve this by tying a rope to the side of the ship, atttaching it to his waist, and swimming away to pull this ship upright. In one of his CS classes, his find project was to create a social network. That social network’s name? Facebook. He graciously gave this project over to his friends Mark Zuckberg, but that’s another story. His ability to always be in the right place at the right time carried over to the field where he was the recipient of many “Bolt” plays. When a huck would go up, inevitable turn into a blade, and get knocked around a few times, it always found its way into Sebastian’s hands.
