#20 Kevin Ji

Height: 4’10

Number of Blocks: 5

Number of Times the Other Team passed him the disc: 5

Kevin is the heart and soul of the NUT program. Any time Kevin gets anywhere near the disc the sideline erupts in raucous cheer. He feeds off of this energy and puts his trust in his teammates. That is why Kevin is a certified shooter, any time he gets the disc, he knows one of his boys is down there somewhere, and sends it to the skies. These shots don’t really work out, but when they do, it is to everyone’s delight. Since Kevin isn’t very big, he is able to move like a gazelle, with explosive changes in direction and endless endurance combined with a wicked top speed.

Kevin comes into Northwestern with an incredible background in academics and athletics. He had a true passion for law which he expressed in mock trial. He also pursued his interest in math leading his math team to the state competition. Once Kevin got to college he threw this all away to study plants. However he has used his experience playing tennis to help him remember which side his forehand and backhand are on. But what stands out most about Kevin is his smile.
