Alfredo Linguini’s- I mean Stephen Council’s first year on NUT could be described as nothing less than electric. If you see this tree of a man staring you down on the line you better be ready for your soul to leave your body. Stephen’s long limbs will lock you down from the moment his pull goes up, and it’s not from a rat pulling on his hair. Next, he’ll sky you deep and then write an article about you being soft in tomorrow’s issue of The Wall Street Journal. There’s no coming back from that. Be ready for a behind-the-back-backhand or no look dime when playing with Stephen- his bag runs deep.
Outside of frisbee, Stephen has been known for his journalism and incredible music taste (kidz bop 34, the soundtrack from surf’s up, Virginia’s top 40 hits). If you’re lucky, he might even write a short story about you. Just hope it’s not fan-fiction. For real though, Stephen is irreplaceable and a lovely friend and teammate who we are all glad to have on our team.
