Zaddeen “Deener” Benaissa

Year: Sophomore
True Story: I first met Zaddeen early in the fall of our freshman year. At an early-on returners practice, I went up to him and said “so like are you a grad student?”. What he may lack in youthful looks, the big bearded man makes up for with his infectious playful energy.
By day, Deener bullies handlers at the front of the zone and pulls off throws some of us are too boring to even know were possible.
By night, he dominates every possible form of team communication. He has mastered the art of the snapchat filter like no other.
Someday he will be a bigshot businessman (#Kellogg), but we’ll always remember him fondly as the biggest hypeman and king of cool handshakes (oof this might not age too well).
