“I don’t consider myself a controversial man. But this one time, I gotta stick my neck out. Perhaps some of the culinary old guard will disagree with me but look man, there is only one Soup.

When I think of Soup I think of something that is flexible and able to adapt to any shape or size. During his time on NUT, Soup played many different roles: The Wing-God, the Ankle-breaker, the Flick-hucker (not backhand tho), the full-Hat-tilter, the full-extension-disc-snatcher, and best dressed( (nearly every position!). When I think of Soup I think of something hearty and good for the soul. As you can see in this video (https://youtu.be/oqI0DKlWEBc?t=135), Soup has the heart and if you have ever see him smile you know he is good for the soul. When I think of Soup, I think of something that packs a BIG punch in a tiny can. Soup is ~6’1”-2” but probably only weighs 120 pounds, that’s a tiny can. But boy o’ boy, Soup could punch. He’d make plays you didn’t even think were possible. A massive layout catch against Pitt at Easterns 2019 and a swallow-your- hand-and-call-Soup-Von-Alanguilan worthy chase down block on what looked like the easiest score in history come to mind. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. THERE IS ONLY ONE SOUP.

Soup was someone that everyone loved to play with. He always put everything he had on the field and always kept things fun and light. You can’t ask for much more in a teammate. He spent his first two years on NUT (2017-2019) shutting down half the field as the wing in our zone and in his final season he was one of our best defensive cutters. I wish miss running out on the field with him, that’s for sure.

I just got one thing left to say…

ssssssooooooooouuuuuuppppppp”
