After deciding to run from NUT to Bolt-which he did very quickly-Jasper became a pillar of Bolt’s o line. After seeing his performance at Midwest Throwdown, the coaches told us that they had decided to change our offense a little bit, which meant “we will now be putting Jasper at the front of the stack in the endzone”. Jasper had a great performance at sectionals but is still reeling from the shock of Mickey putting him on a line of Bolt’s “best throwers”. From watching him play (and getting up after he breaks my ankles in practice), it is clear that Jasper’s quickness and hops are something special. But if you want to shut him down after he burns you on an under, just force him flick. Even though he’s 100% on hammers for the season, he somehow managed to go an entire year without throwing a forehand. Let’s see if he can add that to his arsenal for 2018-2019.
