Player Name: Kyle “Budge” Rutledge
Height: 6’1’’
Weight: 180 lbs
The people’s choice for Callahan, Kyle Rutledge has emerged as the centerpiece of Northwestern’s offense this year. He has been a steady hand providing a constant stream of perfectly placed shots into tight windows all up and down the field with a ruthless abandon that would put fellow Texan and renowned American sniper Chris Kyle to shame. Kyle is a shoe in for top 5 most dreamy players on NUT. He has more southern charm than fellow Texan Matthew McConaughey. Despite flashing supreme athleticism in high school and possessing enough skills to play several sports at a high level in college, Rutledge opted to make waves in the Ultimate Frisbee community. Above all else, Kyle is a supremely intelligent, funny, and surprisingly responsible member of NUT.
Highlight of The Season: Getting beat deep on the second point of the game to go at Regionals against Notre Dame. Thanks to Kyle’s lackluster defense, Christian “best athlete in the region” Rozolis was forced to come help, and went fully horizontal for an absolutely enormous layout D which was converted into an upwind break.
