Team Name: Blackhole
A lot of experienced players (Ethan?, Stoner, Goat, Eddie, Scharf) stopped playing this year for various reasons, leaving Chuck, Juice, Hendude, Stukel, Nuprin, Gabe, Cranston, and five rookies (Wade, Cesa, K, Cy, Homemaker). Brian “Crackspackle” Carrigan, a Notre Dame transplant who was taking night school at NU, joined us for sectionals and regionals. At Big Tens that year, our “coach,” a dude named MJ, was totally pissed off all the time. We went 0-5 and had a long drive back from Champaign. Somehow we won some games at Sectionals (at Purdue) and qualified for Great Lakes Regionals in Columbus, OH, as like a 13 seed or soemthing. We lose first game to OSU, beat soem teams, and then lose to Notre Dame (i think) Saturday night to end our run.
