In 1999, Jon Tamari and Nate Bouxien took over the team. This year proceeded with far less controversy. The core of seniors, Jon, Nate, Erik, Luke, and Bjorn, carried the team with Eddie and Nathan becoming serious contributors on the team evolving their roles from the year before. The team also added three solid players, Dan Gehant, Arjun Venkatesh, and Jeff Jhee. The team again finished strong in third place at sectionals, but again fell at regionals. The seniors graduated, and the team was left very young with Ethan and Eddie captaining the following year.
