Jon hails from Detroit, where he claims to have been pretty good at sports that aren’t ultimate frisbee. Jon is currently a large asset to the team as liaison to MayFest, where he politely voices our yearly request to get a punk rock band as the headliner for Dillo Day. Jon is also a talented musician, wooing the hearts of many with his renditions of Disney sing-alongs on the piano. He also plays violin pretty well (but not nearly as well as Matt Niemer). Son of Bharat Iyer, Jon refuses to show up on time to any event. One of NUT & Bolt’s signature bromances, the perpetually tardy pair can always be found ‘boolin’ around during Bolt practices and tournaments.
On the field, Jon is not be trifled with. A rising senior handler, Jon knows the tricks of the trade. Jon embraces the joy of playing – his energy and spirit are contagious. Most importantly, his twitter game is nasty and you should follow him: @JonHuang_
