John Lee #98

John is the type of player that makes you just stop and think to yourself, “…does this kid even do 150’s?” John spent his amateur season at Northwestern on BOLT as one of the more consistent throwers on the team. In the beginning, he was god awful at throwing. But then, one day he said, “screw it, this is my time” and went from god awful to god awful+1. All joking aside, John is arguably the last on the BOLT squad in terms of speed but first in my heart. He has always shown that he is ready to step up, especially when he had to fill in the shoes of all-American pull catcher on the O-line. John also has shown that he is truly committed to improving his frisbee skills. As someone who is always on time at every practice ready to go, he is an invaluable leader who will undoubtedly motivate and inspire many of the Northwestern Ultimate squad in the 2017-2018 season. John I hope you read this, because you need to start running more. But I know you’re going to work hard over the summer and make us proud when you come back a beast in the fall. Maybe, although highly unlikely, some would say impossible, we can both be NUT O-line handlers lol.
